Error: Couldn't create player character entity

Character Creation Error





The error above can occur when the loading screen is disabled and is a result of corrupted player preference files.

Solution
To resolve, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to your Istaria game install folder - usually "c:\Program Files\Istaria\"
2. Double click the folder named "prefs"
3. Find the files named "ClientPrefs_Common.def", "ClientPrefs_Graphic.def", "ClientPrefs_Launch.def" and delete them.
4. Launch Istaria and log in
5. Click Troubleshoot
6. Check the box "Full Scan" and click Back
7. Select a character and click Play

Default preference files will be restored, which should resolve the error.
