Important Note: Accounts with just "Access" (either "Basic Access" or "Property Holder Access", do not need to be cancelled, as these do not automatically renew each month. Only those accounts with "Subscription" in their name require cancellation.
Cancelling a Subscription or AccountPlease follow these steps to cancel a subscription. To cancel your account, cancel all active subscriptions.
1. Log into https://accounts.istaria.com/
2. You should see a window with a list of your subscriptions in the bottom right corner.
3. Click the Cancel button for each subscription you want to cancel.
4. You will be prompted, "Do you really want to cancel subscription?" Click OK
5. One of two things will happen:
- If your subscription was paid using direct credit card billing, a new window will open that will confirm your cancellation request.
- If your subscription was paid using a PayPal account, a new window will open to PayPal. Please note that your security settings or pop-up blocker may prevent accounts.istaria.com from opening the PayPal window. In that case, adjust your security / pop-up blocker settings or contact support for assistance in cancelling your subscription.
6. Enter your PayPal account login information
7. A list of subscriptions will be displayed. Find the one you want to cancel and click "details"
8. At the bottom of the screen, click Cancel
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not see an option to cancel, that means you do not have a Subscription to Istaria. Any payments made were for a single month only and do not need to be cancelled because they will not automatically renew.
Payments made after August, 2010 will appear as either "Access" or "Subscription" on your payment history. Only those items which are "Subscriptions" need to be cancelled. "Access" payments do not as they do not automatically renew.
