Recovering an Old Character or Account

How to Request an Account or Character Recovery
 
Firstly, we would like to welcome you back to Istaria! Much has changed since you were last here.
 
Before continuing, if you were a Unity player please read https://accounts.istaria.com/helpdesk/faq/i/Unity+Transfer+Information as the Unity transfer process is completely different.
 
If you are a returning player who did not play on Earth or Unity, your characters were stored in the database. To begin, contact Istaria Support with as much information as you can provide. The more you provide, the more likely it is that we can locate your character for you:
 
  • Character Name & Race: We will need the name of the character. Noting what race it was may assist in identifying it.
  • Other Characters on the Account: The names of your other characters can assist us in trying to locate the account, if finding your character fails.
  • Account Email: Providing the email linked to the account will increase your chance of having the account or character located and recovered.
  • Your Information: Providing personal information may further assist us in finding your account. In particular, your name as it would have appeared on the account and the address stored on the account are helpful.
 
Once the character is found, Support will add a trial period to the account. If you are an existing player, Support can merge the character into your existing account. Remember to provide as much information as possible to increase your odds of having your character returned.
