Reset Video Card Settings

Video card drviers allow you to override application settings, or force rendering options for DirectX or OpenGL games. Many times these settings can conflict with the proper operation of Istaria. Some technicians, or optimization programs may change these settings without your knowledge.

Here a few examples of settings that may negatively affect Istaria's stability:
- Ambient Occlusion
- Anisotropic Filtering
- Antialiasing
- Overlay

By default these settings are off or set to "Application-controlled" which will not cause conflict. To return your video card settings to their default state do the following:

AMD

  1. Right-click on your desktop and select Catalyst Control Center
  2. In the upper-right corner of the window, select Preferences
  3. Select Restore Factory Defaults

NVIDIA

  1. Right-click on your desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel
  2. Click Manage 3D Settings
  3. In the upper-right corner, click Restore Defaults

INTEL

  1. Right-click on your desktop and select Graphics Properties
  2. Click 3D
  3. Click Restore Defaults
